Cable's strength continues as expected and breaks mentioned short term falling trend line resistance (now at 1.9916) and 161.8% projection of 1.9621 to 1.9783 from 1.9657 at 1.9919. At this point, intraday bias remains on the upside as long as 1.9869 minor support holds.

UK May M4 up annual 13.8 pct, highest since Oct 2006's 13.9 pct (AFX News)

The UK's broad measure of money supply continued to grow at a strong pace during May, figures from the Bank of England confirmed today. In its first release of the money supply during the month, the central bank said its preferred M4 measure rose by a monthly 1.2 pct, and by 13.8 pct year-on-year.
