Mid-Day Forex Technical Report - Dollar Hesitates to Rally Further Despite Strong Retail Sales by ActionForex.com

USD/CHF's rally from 1.2146 continues today by reaching as high as 1.2468 so far. At this point further rally is still expected as long as 1.2395 minor support holds. Next upside target will be 1.2571 high. However, touching of 1.2395 support will indicates that a short term top is possibly formed on overbought condition and bring retreat to 4 hours 55 EMA (now at 1.2312) before another rise.

US retail sales were up 1.4 pct in May, the biggest rise since the 3.3 pct jump in January 2006, the Commerce Department said today. May's increase was higher than expectations for a 0.7 pct rise.
