U.S. productivity in the first quarter grew at a rate lower than originally estimated, while unit labor costs rose more than expected and were also adjusted higher for the prior quarter. ECB Raises Refi Rate To 4.00% From 3.75% (Dow Jones)

The European Central Bank raised interest rates 25 basis points Wednesday, just as markets had expected. The ECB increased the key refinancing minimum bid rate to 4.00% from 3.75%. Likewise, it raised the deposit rate to 3.00% from 2.75%, and the marginal lending rate to 5.00% from 4.75%.
