Mid-Day Forex Technical Report - Yen Rebound Stalls but Further Rise Still Likely by ActionForex.com
EUR/JPY recovers mildly after fall from 162.42 reached as low as 159.60 earlier today. As discussed before, a short term top should be formed at 162.42 after 4 hours MACD was dragged below signal line and EUR/JPY has failed to take out medium term and short term channel resistance decisively.

Friday Notes - US employment heyday to fizzle in Spring by HVB Group
After a strong February figure, we expect growth of retail sales to have slowed down to 0.6%. The British Retail Consortium and Confederation of British Industry surveys pointed to an even stronger plus. Despite a soft reading in Q1, due to the weak January figure, the trend seems to be cooling off only moderately.

Canadian CPI rises higher than expected (FXstreet.com)
Inflation grew 2.3% on the year in Canada instead of the 2.0% expected by the market, core CPI grew the same percentage, 2.3% when the market expected a 2.0% increase, according to data by Stats Canada. Higher prices in gasoline drove the yearly CPI to its highest rise in eight months.
