Personal Consumption prices index for the fourth quarter of 2006 has been revised down to -1.0 from the initially estimated -0.9 This has been the largest drop in the PCE since the -1.2% in 1954. Excluding food and energy, the PCE gauge increased at 1.8% following a 2.2% increase in the previous quarter.
