Friday Notes - Pullback in inflation does not mean all-clear for the ECB by HVB Group
The consistently mild winter weather has substantially dampened the normal rise in winter unemployment up to February. For that reason, we now expect March to bring a smaller seasonal decline in not adjusted unemployment than in preceding years. The robust economy should have triggered a further decline in the adjusted number.

US February durable goods orders up 2.5 pct vs 3.1 pct rise expected (AFX News)
Orders for big-ticket manufactured goods in the US rebounded in February as the prior month's plunge was revised further downward, the Commerce Department said today. New orders for durable goods rose by 2.5 pct in February after declining a revised 9.3 pct in January, the sharpest one-month fall since June 2000.

DATA SNAP: German CPI Stronger Than Expected In March (Dow Jones)
German consumer prices rose more strongly than expected in March, driven higher fuel, clothing and shoe prices, preliminary data from the federal statistics office Destatis showed Wednesday. On the month, the CPI rose 0.3% in March, a slight slowdown from the 0.4% increase seen in the previous month.
