GBP/USD comment on recent price action - Breaks intraday downtrend line by FXstreet.com
After breaking downtrend line around 1.9300. the pair jsut spiked up, also supported with good gains in the crosses, especially in EUR/GBP. It has retraced from the hit of highs @ 1.9350 (extreme overbought territory), but still looks like a threat to shorts, especially as MA's could trigger a bullish cross.

Friday Notes - Correction, not a trend reversal by HVB Group
In February, we expect the confirmation of the flash estimate reading, with eurozone inflation stable at 1.8%, remaining below 2% since August 2006. The core rate is expected to hold at 1.7%, with some upside risks. Overall, the inflation scenario remains benign: we expect further moderation in Q2 and Q3, and a rise back toward 2% in Q4 2007.
