Forex Trading Strategies - Markets Relatively Quiet with GBP Going Lower on Paper Bomb Explosion in the UK by ActionForex.com
USD/JPY continues its recovery from 114.40 from early December and has broken the range in the 113.35-120.00 area, but remain neutral to bullish as long as the lower end of the range is intact. For the upside, a close above 121.40 is still needed for the upside to accelerate.

- Tony Juste, FX Advisor at FXstreet.com:
"UK retail sales could take a bigger (than usual) role as consumption is probably one of the main focus the BoE analyzes these days to measure the impact of its interest rate hikes. Good numbers could mean (and some certainly will take it that way) that the central bank has green light (yellowish) to continue with the tightening policy; a decline would just signal the opposite as many economic lobbies start to point out recently." - FXstreet.com

- Tony Juste, FX Advisor at FXstreet.com:
"The services sector in the US, fuelled by strong spending in consumption, is still showing good growth, and certainly is the driving force of the economy (or the econmic growth one should say) these days. It will be easy for the Fed to continue a bit of a hawkish talk with this data, but certainly to me this looks a bit scary, relying on just one side of the economy." - FXstreet.com
