FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - US stocks have closed with green numbers on Thursday amid US better than expected data and ongoing fiscal cliff talks. The Republican House Speaker John Boehner expressed optimism about reaching a budget deal with President Obama in a conciliatory speech where Boehner said he would continue to work on a solution.
The Dow Jones has rise 59.75 points or 0.45% to reach the 13,311.72 level. The S&P 500 advanced 7.88 points or 0.55% to finish at 1,443.69. And the Nasdaq Composite was 6.03 points or 0.20% to reach the 3,050.39.
