FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The US Stock market has been mixed at its opening as worries across Europe have clearly hampered sentiment Wednesday, leading to marginal gains and modest losses. The Dow Jones seems to have been the most resilient today, opening in positive territory at 13467.91, up +0.08% in these moments.

On a more negative note, the NASDAQ is operating in the red at 3109.96, falling 7.76 points or -0.26% at the time of writing. Finally, the S&P 500 has crept marginally lower at the opening as well, as settling at 1439.29, presently down -0.17%.

It is a sea of red across virtually all sectors as none appear quite immune to the gloom this morning. In particular, the Energy, Capital Goods, and Consumer Cyclical sectors appeared to be standout losers. In other news, the price of crude has settled below USD $90.26 today, climbing -1.22%.
