FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - This week all eyes are on the meeting of the great and the good at the Jackson Hole Economic Symposium in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. Markets waiting with bated breath for more monetary easing from the FOMC and the ECB comments by Bernanke and Draghi Friday and Saturday, however over the course of the three day meeting there will be a number of presentations by senior academics and policymakers, although the running order is as yet unknown.

According to RBS European Economist Team, “We do know that the Bank of England's superstar Executive Director for Financial Stability, Andy Haldane, is attending - no doubt to speak about the Bank's new macroprudential policy regime - and his speech is near certain to reference Raghuram Rajan's famous 2005 Jackson Hole speech, in which argued that financial development had made the world a riskier place and which apparently got a pretty lukewarm reception.”
