FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone annual core inflation increased 1.5% in September, following 1.5% growth registered the previous month, according to data released today by Eurostat. This result is lower than market consensus of +1.7%

Year-over-year Eurozone CPI rose 2.6% in September, following +2.6% in August and almost in line with expectations of a 2.7% increase. On a monthly basis Eurozone CPI edged up 0.7% in September, after increasing 0.4% in August and slightly below projections of a 0.8% rise.
