FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to the Labor Department, the americans that filed in their first initial claims for regular state unemployment-insurance benefits fell by 23K last week to a seasonally adjusted 369K in the week ended October 20, below expectations at 370K and coming from 392K (revised) in the previous print.
Continuing claims, which reflect people already receiving benefits, decreased by 2K to a seasonally adjusted 3.254 million in the week ended October 13 vs. 3.256 million in the previous week (revised).
