Aso's comment this morning: "As I have said before we are firmly conducting monetary and economic policies in order to escape from a prolonged deflationary stagnation. That's all I have to say," Aso told a news conference after a cabinet meeting. This is the official line that Japanese officials are repeating and that they will carry into the G20 meeting.
