FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to the Labor Department, the americans that filed in their first initial claims for regular state unemployment-insurance benefits rose by 78K last week to a seasonally adjusted 439K in the week ended November 10, missing expectations at 375K and coming from 361K (revised) in the previous print.
Continuing claims, which reflect people already receiving benefits, rose by 168K to a seasonally adjusted 3.334 million in the week ended November 3 vs. 3.163 million in the previous week (revised).
