FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Moving in tandem with the euro, the Swiss franc weakened versus the dollar on Thursday, with USD/CHF rising over 90 pips throughout the day and printing fresh weekly highs during the New York session.

USD/CHF peaked at 0.9788 in recent dealings and then moved slightly off to currently quote at the 0.9775 area, recording a 0.6% gain on the day.

The Kshitij Consultancy Services Team expects the pair to move towards 0.9800 soon, though in the medium term, the pair can take resistance either at 0.9800 or 0.9860 and can move downwards again. "The pair definitely lacks momentum and is expected to move slowly", they say.
