Wall Street finished mix; Dollar moves away from the highs of the day

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) – Stocks ended mix in the U.S. on a calm day. Crude oil trades below $80 on a volatile session. Gold holds above $1,100 an ounce. Dollar is slightly up against across the board. In the last hours Greenback continued to move away from intra-day highs.
The Dow Jones rose 0.20% and posted gains for the fifth consecutive day. On the other side the Nasdaq fell 0.14%. Market is Europe also closed with mixed results.
Dollar is moving in ranges across the board. EUR/USD holds below 1.5000 but above 1.4970. GBP/USD continues to moved away from 1.6605 (intra-day low) and is consolidating above 1.6700. USD/JPY is calm and moves inside a range with support at 89.70 and resistance at 89.90 since the beginning of the American session.
