Earlier on Monday the member of the ECB Executive Board Jörg Asmussen urged the indebted country to strictly carry out the program of reforms required by the Troika, instead of engaging in the renegotiation of bailout conditions.
"The new government should not lose precious time looking to avoid or loosen the programme," he insisted in a speech, suggesting that the EU, ECB and IMF inspectors who will arrive in Athens this week might show strong opposition towards relaxing the terms of the rescue.
