FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - During a debt sale held by Spain in the European morning, the country auctioned 4.614 billion euros worth of 3-, 4- and 10-year government bonds.
1.513 billion euros of 10-year bonds were auctioned at an average yield of 5.458%, in comparison with 5.667% seen at the previous sale (cover 1.88 from 2.85).
The Spanish Treasury also sold 1.637 billion euros of bonds maturing in 2015 (cover 2.61 from 1.76) and 1.464 billion euros of bonds maturing in 2016 (cover 1.88 from 2.85). They were auctioned at an average yields of 3.227% (vs 3.956%) and 3.997% (vs 4.603%), respectively.
