BUDAPEST (Thomson Financial) - Unemployment in Hungary in the three month period from May to July was 7.0 pct, unchanged from the previous three months, data from the central statistics office showed.
Unemployment fell from 7.3 pct during the same period last year and was down from a peak this year of 7.5 pct recorded in January through to April.
Hungary uses a three-month rolling period to measure unemployment, which it says is more accurate than a monthly figure.
