Beginning with the indices and composites, the NASDAQ fell -0.33% as it settles in region of 3143.42, down -10.54 points in these moments. In addition, the S&P 500 is trading in negative territory, operating at 1499.59, losing -0.59 points or -0.03% at the time of writing. Finally, the Dow Jones has moved higher at the opening as well, trading in the zone of 13886.19, presently +0.03% after an ascent of +4.26 points.

Sectors are all mixed at the opening, however the Energy and Basic Materials sectors have distinguished themselves as the winners thus far, jumping +0.53% and +0.55% respectively. In other news, the price of crude has settled above USD $97.09 Tuesday.
