Mexico consumer prices up 0.68 pct in October

MEXICO CITY, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Mexican consumer prices rose 0.68 percent in October, higher than analysts expected but level with the 0.68 percent reading reported in September, the central bank said on Friday.

Inflation was 5.78 percent in the 12 months through October , the bank said.

Consumer prices had risen 0.39 percent in October 2007.
