FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Year-over-year UK Industrial Production decreased 4.3% in June, after dropping 1.8% in May, National Statistics informed today. This result is more positive than the market consensus of -5.0%.
On a monthly basis Industrial Production was at -2.5% in June, in comparison with the 1.0% growth registered the previous month and above expectations of a 3.4% fall.
UK annual Manufacturing Production slid 4.3% in June, following a 1.8% drop in May and above forecasts of a 5.6% decline. On a monthly basis it decreased 2.9% in June, after registering a 1.2% rise the previous month and above projections of a 4.1% fall.
On a monthly basis Industrial Production was at -2.5% in June, in comparison with the 1.0% growth registered the previous month and above expectations of a 3.4% fall.
