FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to the Labor Department, the americans that filed in their first initial claims for regular state unemployment-insurance benefits dropped by 6K last week to a seasonally adjusted 386K in the week ended June 23, missing expectations at 385K and coming from 392K (revised) in the previous print.

Continuing claims, which reflect people already receiving benefits, dropped by 15K to a seasonally adjusted 3.296 million in the week ended June 16 vs. 3.311 million in the previous week (revised).
