FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The US Stock market moved marginally higher Friday morning after JP Morgan (JPM) reported 34% stronger profits. Beginning with the indices and composites, the NASDAQ has gained +0.11% as it settles in region of 3052.63, up 3.34 points in these moments.
In addition, the S&P 500 is also trading in positive territory, operating at 1434.44, rising 1.77 points or +0.12% at the time of writing. Finally, the Dow Jones has moved higher at the opening as well, operating in the zone of 13358.18, presently up +0.24% after a fall of 31.79 points.
Most sectors have opened firmly in the green, however, the Financial and Energy sectors have distinguished themselves as losers thus far, falling -0.49% and -0.12% respectively. In other news, the price of crude has settled below USD $92.24 today, rising +0.18%.
