FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to the Labor Department, the americans that filed in their first initial claims for regular state unemployment-insurance benefits fell by 2K last week to a seasonally adjusted 386K in the week ended April 14 - keeping the figures in a 4-month highs - above the 370K previously estimated and coming from 388K in the previous print.
Continuing claims, which reflect people already receiving benefits, rose by 26K to 3.3 million in the week ended April 7 vs. 3.27 million in the previous week.
