FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - NZD/USD trades a tight range between 0.8254 and 0.8281 so far this Wednesday, last quoted around the 0.8270 mark, and virtually unchanged from the NY close.

The 100-hour EMA (0.8253) continues to support price in the short term, a break of which could open scope for a test of 0.8231 (overnight low), then 0.8204 (200-hour EMA). On the 4-hour chart, the 21 EMA is also attracting buyers and helping to keep price contained above it.

Asian stocks are positive and shares in HK are at session highs; Japan 225 is up 49.73 points, or 0.55% at 9173.50, S&P/ASX 200 is up 19.37 points, or 0.44% at 4414.10, and Hang Sen 40 has jumped 141.07points, or0.68% at 20743.00.
