FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - U.S. stocks rallied Thursday as sentiment was boosted by talks of further stimulus from global central banks, lower borrowing costs in Europe and as investors embraced a first-quarter earnings season expected to surpass low expectations. The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 181.2 points, or 1.4%, to 12,986.58. The S&P 500 climbed 18.86 points, or 1.4%, to 1,387.57. The Nasdaq Composite edged up 39.09 points, or 1.3%, to 3,055.55.
