FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - According to the Financial Times, China’s steel raders are experiencing a very significant slowdown. As noted by Leslie Hook, FT reporter in Beijing: "Prices for steel are falling, demand is poor, loans are hard to come by, and no relief is in sight." Leslie quotes one trader in the town of Tangshan, as saying: “There is just no demand,”, with the trader adding: “It’s much worse than [the last downturn] in 2008. In 2008 at least you had buyers talking to you. Not any more.” AUD/USD trades at weekly lows around 1.0225 after printing its lowest at 1.0217.
