FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The US Dollar Index, which gauges the world’s reserve against its major competitors, is trading in the boundaries of the key support at 81.00 as B.Bernanke is giving his speech at Jackson Hole Symposium. The greenback is under heavy pressure now, losing ground across the board.

At the moment: AUD +0.33%, EUR +0.85%, GBP +0.55%, NZD +0.57%, CAD -0.61% CHF -0.80% and JPY -0.39%. Wall St. is up 0.98% at 13,109 pts. and S&P500 is advancing 0.72% at 1,403 pts. WTI is up 1.02% at $95.71/bbl and Gold is up 0.47 at $1,663/oz

The index is retreating 0.63% at 81.20 and according to www.tradingcentral.com, the next support lies at 81.00 followed by 80.70
On the upside, a breakout of 81.50 would bring 81.60 and finally 81.70
