GBP/USD peaked at 1.6215, but quickly turned south and began to retrace its path, falling back to daily lows. At time of writing, GBP/USD is trading around 1.6175, where it records a 0.1% loss on Friday.
In terms of technical levels, Valeria Bednarik, chief analyst at FXstreet.com locates immediate supports at 1.6150, 1.6110 and 1.6060, while resistances could be found at 1.6240, 1.6285 and 1.6310.
