BRUSSELS, Oct 8 (Reuters) - The European Commission declined to comment on a series of coordinated cuts in interest rates by the European Central Bank and other central banks across the world on Wednesday.
"No comment," a spokeswoman for the European Union executive said.
The Federal Reserve, the ECB, the Bank of England, the Swiss, Canadian and Swedish central banks all eased by a half point in a bid to restore confidence into markets.
