Sept 17 (Reuters) - Analysts are increasingly skeptical about AIG's chances of survival in its present form, Boris Schlossberg, director of currency research at GFT Forex, writes in a note. "The terms of the credit facility from the Fed, which carry loan-shark-like rates of 11 percent, raise serious questions as to how the company will be able to generate enough capital to pay them back." Schlossberg says. "Therefore, while the AIG bankruptcy may have been avoided for the time being, it appears that the Fed action may have simply created an environment for a controlled wind down (of) AIG's operations rather than a full rescue of the business."
