WASHINGTON, Oct 3 (Reuters) - The U.S. House of Representatives on Friday began a procedural vote that is needed to clear the way for debate and final voting on a $700 billion Wall Street bailout bill.
Should this procedural measure governing rules for general debate pass, the House would then begin that debate on the legislation with the goal of passing it soon.
