ABUJA, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Nigeria, the world's eighth largest oil exporter, is pumping around 2.1 million barrels per day, down from last week after a fresh wave of militant attacks, a senior oil official said on Tuesday.
"Production had been at around 2.2 million barrels per day. We are now at 2.1 (million)," a senior official with the state-oil firm NNPC told Reuters.
Government officials on Monday said up to 115,000 bpd of oil production may have been halted in the last four days. (Reporting by Randy Fabi) Keywords: NIGERIA OIL/OUTPUT
