GBP/USD breaks below 1.5100, approaching 1.5000

Pound's retreat from 1.5380 high on Wednesday has extended lower on Friday as the Sterling has been dropping like a stone from 1.5255 session high on Asian session to session lows around 1.5020, and approaching psychological level at 1.5000.

USD/JPY upside attempt capped at 90.70 resistance again

The Dollar has stretched higher on European morning time and, after having remained trading sideways between 90.35 and 90.50/60, the pair jumped to 90.70 resistance area, which held firm, and the Greenback bounced back to previous range.

After collapsing in-line with all the other risk-markets in a global correction, Aussie dollar has managed to bounce from session lows and consolidate in a narrow range. Seems much of the earlier volatilty has passed and now players are settling down for the weekend.
