EUR/USD ends week with moderate losses

The Dollar posted gains against the Euro after falling in the last two weeks. EUR/USD fell on Friday but managed to stay above a key support at 1.4800.

GBP/USD fails to hold above 1.6500

The Pound failed to hold above 1.6500 against the Dollar and fell to 1.6470 after peaking at 1.6533. Currently trades at 1.6480/85, 1.10% below today’s opening price.

USD/JPY retreats to 88.85 after hitting intra-day high at 89.15

After rising around 50 pips during the European session from intra-day low at 88.65 to hit daily high at 89.15, USD/JPY has begun to fall to trade below 89.00 level, close to 88.80. Currently the pair is trading around 88.90/89.00, close to the opening price action at 89.95.

USD/CHF above 1.0200

FXstreet.com (Buenos Aires) – Mounted on dollar strength, USD/CHF break above 1.0200 level that has been capping the upside for a whole week, now attempting to hold it. After hitting an intraday high at 1.0222, pair is consolidating gains.
