Who is Mihai Marinescu?

Mihai holds a BA in Political Science, and before becoming active in the investment sector worked for almost 3 years as web designer and IT trainer for his own small company. The quest to find the "right" thing for him ended when he was introduced to the FOREX market in 2004. Since then, the market has been taking most of his time.

Learning the ABC of trading was fast, due to intense interest to aquire new information and the presence of 2 mentors, which both shaped his way of thinking and taught him how to survive as a trader. He started his own website - PipsAndTips.com - where he first offered his services as an analyst and signal provider to thousands of regular subscribers. Now after more than 5 years of trading & coaching he is back to where he started: "It's good to be home. PipsAndTips had given me the jump start as a trader, now I am back to give it the best of who I've become" says Mihai.

Together with his FxInstructor colleague Nader Moustafa he has been developing a trend forecasting barometer, offered for free on FxTrendMeter.com. As he received a lot of positive feedback to the Trend Meter, Mihai is currently working on developing this great tool further into an independent trading system.

From early in his trading career Mihai caught the attention of Spencer Financial, a US-based brokerage company where he worked for 1 year as Senior Market Analyst. He later joined the same team at FXInstructor, an online Forex Education company, where he was active for 3 years as an instructor & mentor for hundreds of students.

Now Mihai is trading full-time, teaching personalized Forex courses & moderating his own trading room together with his business partner James "Renshi" Weegen on www.PipsAndTips.com
