PMI manufacturing in UK climbed

PMI manufacturing in the United Kingdom improved to 56.7 from the revised previous 54.6 from 54.1 while the markets were expecting 53.9

UK M4 Money Supply Unchanged

The UK M4 money supply for December at -1.1% inline with prior while on the year it remain unchanged at 6.4%.

Mortgage Approvals in UK slip

Mortgage approvals in the UK for December worsened to 59.0 thousand which is lower than the revised prior 60.0 from 60.5 thousand and worse than the projected 61.8 thousand.

UK net lending and consumer credit

The United Kingdom net consumer credit for December at 0.1 billion pounds which is higher than the previous and projected readings of -0.4 billion pounds while net lending secured on dwelling at 1.2 billion pounds which is lower than the revised prior 1.6 from 1.5 billion pounds and worse than the expected reading of 1.6 billion pounds.

Italy PMI manufacturing improved

Italy PMI manufacturing in January at 51.7 from the prior 50.8 which is higher than the projected reading of 51.2 

PMI manufacturing in euro zone climbs

Euro zone PMI manufacturing in January final reading at 52.4 from preliminary and projected readings of 52.0 

Germany PMI manufacturing beat estimates

Germany PMI manufacturing final reading at 53.7 higher than the preliminary and projected readings of 53.4. 

Switzerland SVME PMI improves

Switzerland released its SVME PMI for January at 56.0 which is higher than the revised prior reading of 53.7 from 54.6 while the markets were expecting 55.6
