Euroland is in its first ever so-called technical recession. GDP declined as expected 0.2% q/q in Q3 according to the flash estimate. Thereby GDP contracted for the second quarter in a row as GDP also shrank 0.2% in Q2 compared to Q1. Year-on-year GDP grew 0.7% in Q3; half the increase in Q2.
