Turkey: It's just getting worse and worse

The Turkish financial markets have plummeted today most notable is the drop on the Istanbul Stock exchange of almost 6%. The lira is also weaker, and bond yields are higher. These major moves in the Turkish markets come after a ratcheting up of domestic political tension. We see a significant risk that the sell-off will escalate in the coming days and weeks.
