Reliable broker
Am reading regularly this very long and super entertaining thread about NFA dead pool. I mean entertaining cause I live in the UK and am not intending to go for a US broker (not even sure if I can).
Plus, it seems that NFA is just saying this or that broker is reliable and this other is not. But in the UK, FSA+FSCS = even if your broker dies down, you'll get your money back. At last if it is FSA regulated.
The one I am demoing with, Alpari, is FSA regulated. Is there somewhere a list of all FSA regulated ? Quite frankly, not using one of them looks like a huge risk to me.

Below you can find some of them:
Saxo Bank
CMC markets
City Index
ODL Securities
If I find a list I'll publish here; also ask in Forexscholar's thread ( http://www.fxstreet.com/forum/showthread.php?p=63833), he may help you

That's a good request my friend!
Many people post lists about brokers but they never explain under what criteria they made that list.
People should post the list of pros and cons a broker has.

yea... all your suggestions would help many...... Therefore i think when you first decide to trade Forex you will need to locate a reliable broker. It's very important that you familiarize yourself with the software the broker uses for making trades analyzing the market any other features they may offer. Many have a training or tutorial account that will allow you to signup make trades for free. Use this to your advantage before just jumping in tossing your money in.

Start trading with as little as US$25
Credit Card or PayPal use for instant Deposit
Guaranteed Stop-Loss Rate

No hidden costs, Competitive spreads
Special Terms for frequent traders
No download to software
Live Quotes, real-time
Full Transparency
Security and Safety

Non of them are ECN brokers. Better use some Marketplaces. Please guys open your eyes and check for ECN broker which can show in market depth 100 mio as minimum.

Need help deciding which is best?
Using an IB can help deciding if an ECN, Fixed, or Variable broker is best. And wich is best for your strategy, currency pair, and particular EA.
Back Bay FX works with all of the largest brokers in the US..
FXDD, FXCM, Forex.com, GFT, PFG, CMSFX, and MB Trading (pending).
They are also offering rebates of $3.00 per lot just for signing up!

recommendation
In my opinion the most important thing is that your funds are secure, you should look for a broker ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified…
I trade with acm, I recommend you check out their web site…
Regards!!!

Doing Brokers Due Diligence
Very nice thread you have here guys
Recently, here at FXstreet.com we have launched the Learning Center, an in-depth educative section that pretends to help to educate traders.
Yesterday I just read a chapter that could be of your interest in your broker's discussion. I'm not copying here due its length:
Doing Brokers Due Diligence
Enjoy it!
