All of the people who have particiapted in the contest who end up with a positive percentage gain should be very happy. Forex trading is not easy and there are so many unknown factors that can destroy the best laid plans such as a passing remark from a memeber of the FOMC or ECB that when all is said and done it is a major accomplishment to end the contest on the plus side.
My thanks to FX Street and Nordsmarket for running the contest and like all of you I look forward to the next one.

In Forex Trading or everything in the world there are "Lucky" or "Save the bell ring", and It's make to win for someone and sometime can make lose for someone else, so be careful to selection the best of pure traders, in this moment I'am in happy, so don't be sad for someone that who are unlucky.......someday you will get it!!

Again, thanks to fxstreet and Nordmarkets for this competition. This was a really useful competition for me in terms of refining my trading style - which will not suit eveyone.
I didn't manage to post a large gain in the last week on account of sticking to my trading system rather than making some large "Hail Mary" trades. I'm happy with 7th place and what I think is a reasonably safe trading system.
Over the next couple of weeks, I'll put together some of my thoughts on the last three months and post them on my webpage at: toty2008.html
As to managed accounts, I agree with RonaldoGol: Good luck to Nordmarkets with the wide swings that Sew Yew Teck managed to acheive.

The Contest Winner
Regardless of how it was done the simple fact is the winner was the best trader during the contest period in terms of percentage gain. It can put it down to luck or reckless trading but that does not change the outcome.
However it might be that he picked the right pair to trade from the start, set an upper and lower limit for shorts and longs and was disciplined enough to stay with his plan. So just maybe he is not as reckless as some think or is being made out to be.
