How to participate in FXstreet.com Live Events

Welcome to LIVE Events. FXstreet.com and its team are pleased to welcome you to this section. We would like to encourage you to participate and take part in the different live sessions and events we organize day by day.

By using different technologies, FXstreet.com gives you the opportunity to assist in both chat text and voice sessions. Conducted by recognized top Forex experts, FXstreet.com Live events will provide you with Forex advice, educational material and answers to all your questions or doubts.

Furthermore, FXstreet.com prepares exciting Special Live Events when major economic data is released (FOMC Interest Rates, Non-Farm Payrolls...): new learning experiences that bring useful resources to anyone interested in trading the currency market.

- How to install hotComm

HotComm is the multimedia communication tool we use to host our Live Market and Education Sessions.
Download and install the Hotcomm software by clicking on the link below. If you have other versions of Hotcomm running on your PC, you may have to uninstall them as they may interfere with the Hotcomm Lite version used by FXstreet.com. When the security window prompts you to choose whether you want to Save the file or Run it, choose Run (or Open) to extract the zip file and install the Hotcomm software on your computer.

- How to register for a Live Session

1. If you don't have a FXstreet.com Account: SIGN UP (this is free fast) - If you already have one, go to step 2.

- Go to the Sign Up page
- Fill the form (take note of your username and password for your next visit)
- You will receive an email to activate your account. Check your mailbox and click on the link we provide. You now have an account at FXstreet.com.

2. LOG IN
- Go to the Log In page
NB: If you forgot your username and/or password, click on Forgot your password. You will receive them by email.

3. REGISTER FOR A WEBINAR
- Go to the Live page or the Live Schedule
- Click on the link of the webinar you'd like to attend.
- Click on "Register for this Session"
- A confirmation page will then open with that message: "Thanks! You are now registered for this Webinar"

- Why register for a webinar?

Register for a webinar is not compulsory. You can attend a session once it has been activated on our page, even if you haven't registered before.
The register implies an email reminder you will receive between 30 minutes and 15 minutes before the webinar starts. The session's password will be provided before entering the hotComm room, under the "Join this Webinar" link. If for any reason you don't receive this email reminder, you still can attend the webinar. Just enter the Live homepage about 15 to 30 minutes before the session starts and click on the session's title then on "Join the Webinar".

- How to join a session in progress

Note: you only can enter a session while it is in progress meaning you see bubbles blinking besides the session's title (a session is open 30/15 minutes before its start).

1. Log In (or create an account if you still don't have one: Sign up)
2. Go to http://www.fxstreet.com/live/
3. Click on the session in progress.
4. Click on "Join this Session".
5. FXstreet.com will provide you with a session password – Please write it down. Important Note: The password will not be sent by email, it will be given during the process of joining the session.
6. Click on the "Join the webinar" link: a hotComm room will open and prompt you the session's password.

Note: You need to have hotComm installed on your computer to be able to join a webinar (see above how to instal hotComm).

We record some of the webinars held at FXstreet.com (about 2 per week). All videos are available for free!
In the same section, you can also access the full transcripts of the chat sessions we were hosting before (only text, no video).
