Book Synopsis

What is PFX, and who ever heard of long-term anything in the forex market?!

PFX stands for Profiting with Forex, a fun book written by John Jagerson and S. Wade Hansen, with an accompanying website---www.PFXglobal.com. The book has an ugly orange and black dust jacket, but it outlines our long-term approach to investing in the forex market. That's right, our long-term approach.

How do you PFX (Profit with Forex)? You take a long-term perspective.

We started PFX because we have seen far too many people blow up their accounts trying to day trade the forex market when they had no business doing so. The only way MOST individual forex investors are going to be successful in the forex market is if they have a long-term perspective. MOST individual forex investors should be aware of longer-term fundamental influences, be focusing on longer-term trends, and be placing longer-term trades.

This blog will help PFXers (forex investors who adopt a long-term perspective) do the following:

  1. Learn proper risk-management principles
  2. Understand the fundamental forces that drive the forex market
  3. Analyze important news announcements
  4. Use technical analysis to time their entries and exits
  5. Tame their less-productive emotions

Come see how having a long-term forex perspective can help you become a profitable forex investor for years to come.
