The appetite for risk remains limited by concerns over Spain and Italy in Asia. The foreign currencies continue to trade divergently, with the euro and franc lower, and the pound and Aussie lower. The yen is reversing further from a new 2 ½-year low, but this is a light bounce. The Asian stock indexes slumped.
The short-term outlook for most of the foreign currencies is sideways. The medium-term outlook for most of the foreign currencies is sideways. The LGR short-term model is long on the euro, franc and Canadian dollar, and short yen, pound and Australian dollar.
Good luck!
