USDJPY Comments:

  • Anna Coulling:

As such, once the party is over expect to see the pair push higher to test initial resistance in the 102.47 area and thereafter through towards 107.57 and beyond.

  • Dr. S. Sivaraman:

we may give so many excuses but upward shift in trading zone is in the process.

  • ICN.com analysis team:

A break below 98.60 will confirm and accelerate the bearish scenario expected for next week

  • Ilian Yotov:

The negative JPY trend is still intact but we could see some unwinding of short yen positions ahead of the G20 meeting as traders anticipate that this time the competitive yen depreciation might not go unnoticed by Japan's G20 peers.

  • Yohay Elam:

It seems inevitable that the yen will continue weakening. The battle with 100 is tough, but eventually the level will give way.
