USDCHF Comments:

  • Growth Aces Research Team:

Last week the SNB’s Zurbruegg said one more time that the bank will defend its cap on the EUR/CHF with unlimited purchases of foreign currency. The SNB announced also taking further measures immediately if needed. The EUR/CHF did not manage to break above 1.2100. We see no reasons for which the EUR/CHF stay at low levels and expect the rate to move higher. The slightly bearish outlook for the EUR/USD translates into the forecast of a slight increase in the USD/CHF.

  • ICN.com analysis team:

Trading above 0.9410 is needed to keep our expectation valid.

  • Jameel Ahmad:

I see high chances for this pair to pullback next week. Mainly because if the Fed unexpectedly continue QE, it will cause USD weakness and also because even if the Fed conclude QE, I am expecting Yellen to announce a US rate rise is far away - causing USD weakness. I also see the Eurodollar's recent pause in selling as a reason to expect the EURUSD to stabilize around 1.26 in the longer term. This would result in less dovish talk from the Swiss National Bank (SNB) meaning, the pairs upside potential is fully dependent on the Fed becoming hawkish.

  • Richard Perry:

I expect any weakness to now be seen as a buying opportunity now for the dollar with good support around 0.9400.

  • Scott Barkley:

    5 waves up complete-Should do a correction

  • Yohay Elam:

The franc is likely to slide with the euro.
