GBPUSD Comments:

  • Anna Coulling:

The key technical level is now in place in the 1.5200 region, and provided this is breached, then we can expect to see the current positive sentiment the British pound extend further, possibly back to test the 1.5500 region in the longer term.

  • Dr. S. Sivaraman:

prolonged lower level consolidation is hold and buy strategies of the players- they are expected to rise big to book profits in coming days

  • ICN.com analysis team:

For medium term bears, the current correction should be limited below 1.5265-1.5300 with a weekly closing

  • Ilian Yotov:

The GBP has managed to correct some of its losses, but could resume its downtrend on risk aversion, weak UK data, and expectations of more easing by the Bank of England.

  • Yohay Elam:

The pound has shown some strength for now, but the economy is still in dire straights.
