EURUSD Comments:

  • Anna Coulling:

Classic price action on the eurodollar has resulted in the pair once again rising from the ashes of its recent sell off. Price action last week was characterised with the platform of support being support in the 1.2818 which provided the base for a recovery higher and a move to test the 1.30 price point once more. Any move beyond the 1.3040 price level should see the pair push into the deep congestion which extends from this level up towards 1.3217 and beyond.

  • Dr. S. Sivaraman:

Last week of the month - the market is expected to show aggressive monthly trend reversal move

  • ICN.com analysis team:

Breaching 1.2770 would cancel 1 week bullishness.

  • Ilian Yotov:

More doom and gloom from the euro-zone economy shoud keep the EUR firmly into the $1.20's on expectations of another rate cut and unconventional easing by the European Central Bank.

  • Tor Vollaløkken:

Short-term downward pressure for the pair now limited to ECB rate cuts. Signs that some Euro-zone economies are doing better than what we thought 1-2 months ago.

  • Yohay Elam:

The euro has certainly shown resilience. but the focus could quickly shift back to the talk about a negative deposit rate. depending on inflation numbers.
